Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ (Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ) named the newly constructed Davis-Coble Family Courts
Wednesday during a dedication ceremony. The Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Board of Trustees approved the name
during their regular monthly meeting Wednesday.
The newly constructed outdoor basketball courts were completed this month thanks to
a charitable gift from the Davis and Coble families. The courts are located in the
Mid-America Boulevard parking lot across from the Gerald Fisher building.
Chris Coble said, “As a family, we wanted to give back to students and a community
that have given us so much in return. We hope this gift will inspire more in our community
to invest in Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ students.â€
“The Davis and Coble families have a long legacy of supporting the education and wellness of our young people. This gift demonstrates their commitment to that and we are thankful for their generosity,â€ said Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Board Chair, Joyce Craft.
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ President, John Hogan said, “Gifts like this are an important part of our mission of student success at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ. I am personally grateful to the Davis and Coble families, and I know that our students are as well. Many of them are here today to express their appreciation.â€
