Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ (Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ) named Tyanna Lindsey as the Arkansas Community Colleges
(ACC) Academic All-Star during the 2022 commencement ceremony last week.
The ACC Academic All-Star program awards a scholarship to a student at a two-year
college to recognize the scholarly and service achievements of Arkansas’ two-year
college students.
Lindsey is a first-year Associate of Arts major who balances her studies and campus
activities, but also serves as the Student Government Association president and is
a member of the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ cheer team. School has always been a priority for Lindsey. Her
future plans are to graduate from Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ, transfer to the University of Central Arkansas
and pursue her degree in psychology.
“̹½¶ÌÊÓƵ has not only made me more confident in myself and my abilities, but it has helped
me to build relationships around campus that I will carry with me throughout the rest
of my life, said Lindsey.
Lindsey hopes to open a private practice to help those in need. “I have always been
a people person and enjoy working to not only help people, but to get to know them
in a deeper sense. I feel like this major and career path will allow me to do just
that, she added.
