Honors Arkansas has chosen 蘑菇短视频 (蘑菇短视频) alumnus Alan Robinette as a
鈥淗ometown Hero.鈥 Robinette was an honors student at 蘑菇短视频, where he received his Associate
of Art and worked in the campus library. Upon graduation, Robinette attended Henderson
State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies. He
is currently taking classes at Emporia State University working on his Masters of
Library and Information Sciences.
Robinette began as a circulation manager for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. After
evaluating what would make him happy and fulfilled, he realized he was holding a job
and not building a career. His desire to become a librarian was fueled by the culture
of libraries themselves. They are hubs of learning, culture and training. 鈥淟ibraries
are active, alive, and irreplaceable,鈥 stated Robinette.
